Nickel & Nickel Cabernet Sauvignon Carpenter Vineyard Napa 2004

Carpenter Vineyard is nesteled into the Coombsville area to the east of the city of Napa. The deep volcanic ash and loam soils hold the moisture well and lead to a long growing season. Often this is the last vineyard harvested by Nickel & Nickel. We wait for extra ripeness and for the texture to fully develop. In excellent years, the distinctive mouth feel and density are hallmarks that make Carpenter easy to identify and appreciate.
